I decided to start seeing a personal trainer as I had become overweight and unfit due to a combination of heavy work commitments, poor diet and little exercise. My posture was bad after years of sitting at a desk and I wanted to get back into shape. I found that I did not have the time or the motivation to join a gym so I decided to try having regular "appointments" with a personal trainer to keep me on track.
Spence is an excellent personal trainer. He enjoys what he does and this comes across in his appointments. I have found Spence to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of health and fitness. During the time I have been seeing Spence I feel much healthier and energetic, I have gained strength and my posture has improved significantly. I recommend working with him if you are ready to achieve your fitness goals.

My goals were to get fit, lose a bit of weight and to tone up. Over the last 8 months with the help of Step It Up. I have done exactly that. I feel fitter, healthier and sleep better. I’ve lost 5kg and can now see a lot more muscle definition. With the support and help of Step It Up I have trained and run 8km in an all time personal best of 49 minutes and 12 seconds.

My initial goals were to improve my muscle definition and to increase my fitness and energy levels. 4 months in and I have improve my strength across the board resulting in gaining an extra 5kg of muscle. One by product of training was cutting down on smoking which improved my overall health and wellbeing. I don’t enjoy the gym atmosphere; I much prefer the personal contact and the relaxed environment. I know the one on one attention kept me on my fitness program, without it, I wouldn’t be doing it today.
